C[aleb] L. Lawrence to MVB, 26 October 1818

I wrote you some weeks ago respecting the judgement against Mr. D. L. Van Antwerp, in favor of the establishment of my Father, and at the same time wrote to Mr. Van Antwerp on the subject, since which however I have not recd. a line in relation thereto. The present is earnestly to request that you will urge Mr. Vn. Antwerp for payment, and as my patience is almost exhausted. If something is not shortly done on his part, I wish you to issue execution on his effects and collect it in that manner, for I really think he seems disposed to trifle with us. We have already exercised sufficient forbearance.

yours respectfully

C.L. Lawrence
