DrSir,
Yours of the 11th inst. is recd., in answer to which I state, that Noah A. Whitney had removed from Volney in this County to Jamesville in the county of Onondaga, and that his Responsibility (according to the best information I can obtain) is at least questionable. He is supposed to be worth some money, but his property, I am told, is so situated that it is doubtful whether any considerable amount can be obtained of <him>, if indeed, any thing. Ebenezer Wright resides in the town & County of Onondaga, a fair Candidate for the Goal Liberties, if he is not there already. In short I think there is little probability of collecting any thing of either of them.
In haste most Respectfully & truly Your humble Svt &c &c
Ja. F. Wight
