[Evander] Morse [Jr.] and [Ezra] Davis to MVB, 31 January 1816

Sir,

At the suggestion of Gen. Ellis, we would inform you that the "Gazette; and Onondaga Advertiser," a republican newspaper was issued from our office on the 24th inst. and has already an extensive circulation. To advertising customers, it presents superior advantages; and this consideration, added to the propriety of employing the friends of the Admin, will, we flatter ourselves, induce you to favor us with your official patronage.

We are, respectfully,

your ob't serv'ts

Morse & Davis.
