Matthew Cadwell to MVB, 28 May 1816

Sir—

I have Bought out the James Ville Iron & Woollin factory Company in James Ville in the town of Manlius in the Countey of Onondaga & am Informed that there is a mortgage on the premises in favor of the peopal of the State of New york for the Sum of four-thousand five hundred dollars and that the said Company are sued for the Intrest that ought to have been paid last June & Sir– if you will have the goodness to wright to me the situation of the Business that is how much money is Required that is due for Intrest & the cost that has accrude as I have to pay the demands that are on the property & shall be prepared to pay the amount that is wanted at this time in a bout fifteen days & if it is conveniant for you to give me directions where I may pay the money in Albany it will be an acomadation to me as I can send it there by privet convayers. I calculate to be abel to meet the next payment soon after it falls due and
