MVB to C[harles] E[dward] Dudley, 3 March 1824

My dear Sir,

It will give me great pleasure to be of service to the friend of your friend Mr Hubbard notwithstanding his tenacity in refusing to recognize me when I meet him.

When you write to me again be so good as to say Mrs Dudley and Miss Sarah desire to be remembered to their friend Mr V. B. They may not have asked you to do so, but then you know I shall not be advised of that.

Truly yours

M. V. Buren
