You must not draw [on] me for the $1000 for I have [not] got the money. You may [. . .] amount from Uncle Lawren[ce] [. . .] he has recd. the pay for his wool or if not anticipate it by a note in the Bank. You must <thus> send me a receipt in full & give me <illegible> on the subject of money positively.
