MVB to [Joseph] Gales [Jr.] & [William Winston] Seaton, 25 May 1826

Gentlemen,

Mr <illegible> has promised to deliver you a fair copy of the rough notes of my remarks on the <Mo> to adhere to the amendments of the Senate to the Judiciary Bill. I wish this immediately published in the Intelligencer instead of waiting on this order in the publication of that debate.

My <illegible> are <illegible> that the <illegible> of the <illegible> subject on which I have personally been grossly misrepresented & that every thing that has been said & reported upon the other side has been fully and carefully published.

Yours respectfully

M.V.Buren
