Nathaniel Garrow

Nathaniel Garrow (1780-1841) moved to Auburn, New York, in 1796 and was appointed a justice of the peace (1809). Garrow was sheriff of Cayuga County, New York, (1815-1819, 1821-1825) before winning election as a Jacksonian to the U.S. House (1827-1829). Garrow then served as U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of New York, until his death. (1837-1841).
