Nicholas Fish

Nicholas Fish (1758-1833) was a federalist lawyer and politician who was a veteran of the American Revolution and served as the Adjutant General of New York from 1786 to 1793. He was an Alderman of New York City's Ninth Ward from 1806 to 1817. In 1829 Fish appealed unsuccessfully to MVB to ask for his help in getting Fish's son Petrus enrolled at West Point.
