MVB to [Rufus] King, [c29 April 1825]
My <unclear word>
I [rec]d. your letter at the moment of my departure for the Country where I have since been confined by indisposition from which I am ^have^ however entirely recovered. I had been previously advised of the offer of the mission to you
though from a satisfactory <unclear word> though not an official source & am happy to hear that ^you have found^ no obstacle objection to its acceptance. When will you go. If it is not until June I hope to have the pleasure of seeing you, but whether I do or not my prayer is that health happiness & success may attend you.
